Temple Color Run Eggstravaganza
Saturday, April 15, 2017
11am - 1pm

As part of our Easter Eggstravaganza, this year Temple Baptist Church is hosting its very own color fun run! As you run through the color stations, you will learn how each color represents different aspects of the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and how He empowers us to run the race of life! Below are a list of items to bring:

Essential Items:

  • Plain white t-shirt
  • Expendable shorts/pants and shoes

Recommended Items:

  • Sunglasses
  • Safety goggles (color powder will NOT be thrown in anyone's face, this is an optional precaution)
  • Hat/head covering
  • Towel (for getting back in your car!)
  • Change of clothes
  • Bag to keep your painted clothes in
  • Bring friends and family to share in the fun!

In addition to the color run, there will be games, prizes, inflatables, and food and drinks available for your enjoyment! Join us for a day of fun and celebration!

What is the "color" in a color run?
The color used in this and other color running events is a chalk-like power that is thrown from various color stations along the track. Be advised that while the power is safe and FDA approved, it is not meant for inhalation or consumption.

Will the colors stain my clothing?
The powder used for this run will come out of most articles of clothing with a normal wash cycle. Be sure to shake off any excess powder after you have completed the run for good measure (we will have a cleansing station to help with that!). If, however, you would like to keep the colors on your clothes, fear not! There will be detailed instructions given to all participants on how to keep the colors on once you get home!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
ID is not required and the event is for all ages. We do require that children under the age of 9 be supervised by a parent or guardian.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We have plenty of available parking around the facility. If you are unsure of where to park simply ask one of our volunteers.

What can I bring into the event?
See above list of items for what to bring. Food and drink will be provided at this event. Alcohol and illegal substances are forbidden and will not be tolerated.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions? For any additional information please contact Pastor Trent Haywood via the Church Office 910-483-7620 or via email at trent@templebaptistfay.com.
